Our veterinary center strives for absolute excellence and to rise to such an elevated level of business and medical excellence, that through education and example, we will inspire our community to care for its pets and people as God intended. Focus Animal Care Center will provide comprehensive family practice of exceptional quality for dogs and cats on the Central Coast and will strive to provide reassurance and peace of mind to pet owners who contact us. We emphasize the human-animal bond and quality of life issues. ZVC is a veterinary center of the highest quality; yet will not be a source of specialty referral beyond the ABVP level.

Veterinary Health Care Manager.

Extensive experience in Zoos for 9 years. Devote his knowledge, experience, skills and energy in the field of wildlife and zoo medicine to support the conservation, education and research missions. On call wildlife veterinary consultant to Abu Dhabi Wildlife Centre for 2 years.

Dr. Ahmed Shaarawy

Has veterinary knowledge about the latest advances in medical technology and surgery techniques for small animals, I am a passionate veterinary surgeon, equipped with the medical background and the experience to add value to the small animals’ medical community.

Meet our team

Muhammad Qasim – Vet Nursing Assistant Muhammad started his career in 2017 with small animals and exotic animals. He completed his diploma of veterinary Technician at University of Veterinary Animal Science Lahore Pakistan. Muhammad has worked in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries.

Donald Musiki - Vet Nursing Assistant Donald comes from Zimbabwe and obtains RVC diploma also Exotic animal nursing certificate. He is very passionate about taking care of animals and enjoys doing his work as a veterinary assistant and likes to interact with the pet owners that visit the center.

Abdel Latif – Senior Vet Nurse Studied in Egypt. Latif is an enthusiastic, hardworking, self-organized and professional veterinarian with a wide range of experience of 4 years in different work outside and inside the U.A.E. in pet animals working as a general practicing veterinarian with a good knowledge of diagnostic tools and surgery.

Ahmed Hesham - Dog Trainer

He is the lead trainer at The Pet Hotel as well as supervising the boarding facility and does home visits and gives the necessary advice to pet owners regarding training . has been training dogs for almost 10 years and has his own Rottweilers and trains them daily in conformation (Show Training). One of his boys was very successful and was world champion in the World Dog Show in Germany 2022. Dogs bring joy to Ahmed’s daily routine.

Mark Wright – Duty Manager Mark has been in the U.A.E. since 2008. Has been working in Emirates Park Zoo since 2008 and was the 1st manager of the zoo when it opened . Has a love for animals and loves to interact with both pets and clients . His 1 passion is running and has completed in many marathons.

Our Reception

Bakia Akiason – Groomer Comes from the Cameroons. Is a certified groomer with over 4 years’ experience in both veterinary clinic and grooming saloon. He is a member in good standing with the following associations National Cat Groomers Institute of America, International Professional Groomers and International Groomers Association
